“ We stayed here for a week in September during the rugby World Cup as a base to watch some games in Nice. We cannot fault the friendliness and helpful attitude of the staff. They could not do enough to help with the many problems that arose, all to do with trying to get to and from Nice! Campsite was clean and well presented on the edge of a small forest. A free bus took you from the campsite into Vence, a really delightful town. Judging a campsite is not always about size of pitches, pristine cleanliness (although very important), size of the pool etc. A big part is are you made to feel welcome and not an inconvenience. This was one of the best sites we have ever stayed and we have been caravaning in France for over 30 years! Not an all singing all dancing site and we were there in the low season. For tranquility and location it fitted our requirements perfectly. Thank you La Bergerie. We hope to return. Barry and Sue Scott (See less...) ”

“ We had a wonderful 9 days camping at the site. The staff were all friendly and helpful. The general vibe of the site is very relaxed, with all guests seeming to be on board with keeping the noise down after a certain time (22hrs I think). The swimming pool opening times were a little odd (closed through lunch) and the 'security' person (not a lifeguard) was quite rude to us once. Other than that this was an amazing place to stay and we would definitely stay again. Great location near the beautiful Vence, and not far from Antibes, Nice and other towns on the coast. “ An excellent campsite at which we have now stayed three times. The location is ideal for our needs, giving easy access to a dramatic area of Provence and to Nice (here via public transport), also it is well positioned for journeys to and back from Italy All facilities on the site are of a high standard and always clean and well maintained; staff are helpful and friendly. We have yet to use the pool, but it does look wonderful, and only once tried the restaurant, during our first visit when it was disappointing and expensive. Our visits have been towards the end of the season and the shop does feel quite empty but this must be unavoidable. We are pleased to see that the campsite is now offering the ACSI discount scheme. We have enjoyed our stays on the site very much and intend returning. (See less...) ”

Amazing number of very clean showers, toilets, washbasins etc. First morning, I got lost trying to find the showers I had seen earlier. Somewhat alarmingly high mirrors in a row next to sockets, presumably for people to style their hair, but, as I am short, not much use to me! Low amps in the electricity, supply, only 5, whereas to work our induction hob, we would have liked nearer 10. Few mozzies (we were there in September). (See less...) ”
